Patients with mental illness are known to have markedly elevated rates of metabolic disturbances including obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.  Metabolic disturbances are complicated further by antipsychotic medications.  Therefore, it is critical that patients treated with antipsychotic medications be monitored for metabolic side effects.  Our Trend Tracker system will collect baseline metabolic information and track trends over time.  It is our goal to share this information with our patients and their provider to prevent further metabolic side effects.
